Q Is land still a good investment?
A Land has been the only consistently increasing investment, the Stock Market, Banks, Bonds, Precious Metals, Antiques, Art and Foreign Currency have all had their highs and lows, but land has just continued to rise in value, and nothing shows that this will not continue.
Q If I buy a plot who owns it?
A You do, completely and totally just like you do your present house.
Q Is the transfer of land like buying and selling a house?
A Exactly the same process is employed, the same paperwork is required and the same deeds and land registry are undertaken.
Q Does this mean I have to involve my Solicitor?
A If you wish to you certainly can, We supply all the documentation, copies of searches etc. to make your purchase as simple as possible. Many of our customers are happy to deal with the paperwork themselves and many prefer their own solicitor to undertake the work, we are more than happy to answer any questions your solicitor may ask.
Q Does this mean I actually get the deeds to my plot of land?
A Yes.
Q Typically how long does it takes to get the deeds to my plot of land?
A

It usually takes about 2 to 3 weeks for the Land Registry to process each deed. However, there may be unexpected delays, but you will get your deeds within 3 months of purchase.

Q Can I go and have a picnic on the land?
A Of course you can, it is your land.
